Status:  Project Proposal Level

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Training of Trainers (ToT) for Solar Electrical System Installation and Maintenance (Levels 1 to 3).

• Design the ToT training agenda, session plans, and required training documents based on NSDA approved Competency Standards (CS) and Competency Based Learning Materials (CBLM).

• Deliver CBT&A based Solar ToT sessions, including micro teaching, assessment simulations, and occupational safety practices.

• Conduct pre and post ToT assessments to evaluate trainer competency and readiness.

• Support Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and certification of the trainers.

• Contribute to ToT documentation, reporting, and recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• English C1 (CEFR) and Bangla fluent.

• At least 8 years of professional experience in solar electrical systems and/or renewable energy training.

• At least 5 years of experience in Training of Trainers (ToT) and competency based training.

• At least 3 years of experience leading training sessions or acting as senior trainer/facilitator.

• At least 3 years of experience in projects in South Asia, including Bangladesh.

• Experience in donor funded or public sector skills development projects is an asset.

• Proven experience in developing and using assessment tools, conducting trainer evaluations, and applying occupational health and safety practices.
