Status: Project Proposal Level
Key Responsibilities:

Provide on site technical and safety support during the implementation of Boiler Operation and Maintenance training at selected training centres for the full duration of the module (360 contact hours).

Support the Training of Trainers (ToT) programme as a co trainer/side trainer, providing hands on technical demonstrations, practical facilitation support, and mentoring under the guidance of the lead ToT facilitator.

Support trainers in conducting practical boiler operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety sessions in line with Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) methodology.

Coach and mentor trainers during live training delivery to ensure adherence to approved lesson plans, operational procedures, safety protocols, and assessment requirements.

Support trainees during hands on practical sessions, ensuring safe operation of boiler systems, correct use of tools and equipment, and compliance with occupational safety standards.

Assist in conducting trainee assessments and evidence collection in accordance with National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) requirements.

Support Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessments related to boiler courses, where applicable.

Participate in training monitoring visits and provide technical inputs for monitoring and quality assurance reports.

Ensure strict compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards, boiler safety regulations, and emergency procedures throughout training delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, must have CBT&A Level 4 Certificate of NSDA, and Level 1 Boiler Skills Training Certificate or Boiler Operator Certificate (First Class / Second Class) official certification under the Office of the Chief Inspector of Boilers.

Bangla fluent and English B1/B2.

At least 6 years of professional experience in boiler operation and maintenance.

At least 3 years of experience supporting practical boiler training, safety supervision, and/or assessments using competency based methodology.

Experience supervising technical work or supporting training delivery is an asset.

Experience working in Bangladesh is required.

Experience in skills development, TVET, or donor funded projects is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of boiler safety standards, operational procedures, occupational health and safety requirements, and practical assessment support.
