Boiler Operator

An international development project is seeking 2 qualified Boiler Operators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands on operational support during practical sessions of the Boiler Operation and Maintenance training at selected training centers.

• Operate boiler systems during training sessions to demonstrate standard operating procedures, start up and shutdown processes, routine operation, and emergency handling.

• Support trainers and trainees during practical exercises, ensuring correct application of operational steps and safe working practices.

• Assist in on the job demonstration of boiler operation, monitoring, fault identification, and basic troubleshooting.

• Support practical assessments by demonstrating correct operational techniques in line with Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) requirements.

• Ensure strict compliance with boiler safety regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and training centre safety protocols at all times.

• Coordinate closely with the Boiler Training Implementation Expert and trainers to ensure smooth and effective delivery of practical training sessions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certificate, diploma, or trade qualification in boiler operation, mechanical trades, or a related field, Valid Boiler Operator Certificate/License issued by a recognized authority in Bangladesh is a must.

• Bangla fluent and basic working knowledge of English is an advantage.

• At least 3 years of hands on professional experience in boiler operation in industrial or commercial settings.

• Proven experience in operating industrial boilers, including start up, shutdown, monitoring, and basic maintenance support.

• Experience working in Bangladesh is required.

• Experience in skills training or TVET related projects is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of boiler safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and ability to demonstrate safe operational practices during training.
